Incorporated 1915; population 4299; Pictured is the putting green on the Roosevelt municipal course (I've yet to play it, but maybe the boss will let me out of the office to test out the course later this summer). Anyhow...Roosevelt was orginally settled by Ed Harmston as Dry Gultch in 1905. At this time however, Mr. Harmston's wife renamed the town for U.S. President, Theodore Roosevelt.
